Privacy information
Updated 20 October 2026. Reflection Songs Automation is operated by Ron van den Ouweland for personal use.
Data and purpose
The application processes explicitly submitted reflections, chosen genres and languages, generated lyrics and audio, Google OAuth credentials, and archive file identifiers and links. These are used to generate songs, maintain access to the owner's Drive archive, and create Notion journal entries.
Google Drive access
The Google OAuth permission grants broad Drive access. The implemented workflow uses it to check the configured archive folder and upload audio and reflection metadata there. It does not scan unrelated Drive documents. OAuth refresh credentials are stored in a private hosting directory to allow unattended uploads.
Service providers
OpenAI receives submitted reflection text to generate lyrics. Google receives the musical prompt and lyrics to generate audio, and stores the archive in Drive. Notion receives the reflection, lyrics and Drive links. The application and working files run on mijn.host. Provider processing is subject to each provider's terms and privacy practices.
Storage and removal
Working files, job records and credentials remain on the hosting account until the operator removes them. Drive files and Notion entries remain until deleted by the owner. Copies may also exist in hosting or provider backups under their retention practices. The tool has no automatic deletion schedule.
Access and control
The song API requires a private access token. The app does not create public sharing permissions for archive files. Access follows the permissions of the destination Drive folder and Notion database. The owner can revoke the Google connection in Google Account settings; this stops future uploads but does not delete existing archives.
The application does not use Google user data for advertising, sell that data, or train its own models. Questions or deletion requests: ron@ouweland.nl.
